Punjab Institute of Engineering And Applied Research is situated
at 30 minutes distance from Chandigarh and 20 minutes from Ambala on Ambala-Chandigarh
Highway. The Campus is 5 Kms off the highway near village Malakpur, "fast growing
family of Punjab Group of Colleges". Spread over a vast stretch of 35 acres, Punjab
Institue of Engineering And Applied Research is striving to become a synonym for growth,
spiritual progress, intellectual development, fortification of the skills and competence
and the desire to contribute to the Society, state and the nation.
At present, the College is running the B.Tech. courses in the following:-

- Computer Science Engineering
- Information Technology
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engg
Efforts are being made to add more Engineering degree courses to meet the future
needs of this profession. Emphasis is laid on the over all development of the students
to make them responsible, value based, multi-dimensional & healthy with positive
attitude to face the challenges of life, and to enable them to become competent
of 21st Century engineers.
