SMART CLASS ROOMS Class rooms are quite spacious and airy, and meet the requirements of a modern learning-conducive environment. Easy and comfortable sitting helps the students to concentrate on their lectures and enhance their receptivity to the class-room learning.There are some Hi-Tech Smart Class Rooms.
Laboratories & WORKSHOPS Punjab Group of Colleges, Lalru Mandi. possesses the most updated and ultra-modern laboratories catering to the need of the Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication and Computer Sc. Engg. disciplines. These labs are aesthetically laid out to provide on the floor training to the students. These labs are fully equipped with the intra-curricular equipments and instruments so that the budding engineers are exposed to the state-of-the art lab environment. LIBRARY PGC Library represents the spirits of comprehensiveness and intellectual richness. The library has a gigantic reservoir of knowledge in form of a large number of volumes of Engineering subjects, and national and international journals. Libraries are fully automated with blue tooth scanners and Smart Card Readers so that students do not have to waste time for issues and return of books. Sufficient space is available for seating of hundreds of students. Library services are available even after the College hours.
TRANSPORT SYSTEM Transport system is quite strong. A large fleet of buses ply from Patiala, Rajpura, Ambala, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula etc. to the College so that the students should not face any problem in reaching the College and going back home. Efforts are being made to add more buses to the system so that the accessibility of the transport system becomes easy for the students.
HOSTEL FACILITY Hostel Facility exists for both boys and girls. The hostel environment is conducive to learning and tension free to enable the students to imbibe the spirit of healthy camaraderie. Mess is being run by an experienced contractor who ensures that fresh preparations become readily available in abundance and the hostel life becomes homely for the students.
SPORTS For an all round development of personality of the students, facilities of games, sports and cultural activities are offered. Through out the year, sports activities are carried out regularly. There is an ample space for sports ground. The students are motivated and encouraged to participate in athletic meets and inter college tournaments organized every year. Sports activities are a regular feature for inculcating healthy habits in the students. Hockey, Cricket, Table Tennis, Football, Volleyball, Athletics etc. are some of the activities which are pursued throughout the year. National Service Scheme to inculcate the students' mind with social commitment and responsibility, regular social service activities are organized in the villages. The students are encouraged to participate in the social work to propagate among the rural about the importance of social living, eradication of social evils like illiteracy, family norms etc. The young students take keen interest in the social welfare activites.

SMART CAMPUS Punjab Group of Colleges have implemented Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system called “Smart Campus”. It caters all the stakeholders like – students, staff, parents, management etc. Makes the useful data in required and right format at just a click of mouse . Touch screen kiosk facilitates the students to get their details like fee dues, exam results, library books availability, class attendance, syllabus covered, etc at just a “Touch To Menu”. Staff biometric attendance and automated leave management exhibits the transparency in the procedure.
INDUSTRY - ACADEMIA INTERACTION Training and placement Cell exists in the College to facilitate the students to choose their careers with a variety of choices for growth and progress. The industry-academia interface helps the students to interact with the visiting recruiters from the prominent industries on the campus and also in the industrial settings. The students are provided wide exposure with visits to the industries, trade get-togethers and techno fares. We have made exclusive tie-up with HCL Technologies, for the training & placement of students. This tie-up will offer following benefits for the students: Training to be conducted by the certified HCL Trainers and professionals Mock Interviews and Interview handling by Industry Professionals Industrial Visits at HCL Manufacturing plants and Offices International Industrial visits Certification on the training by HCL Technologies To Be Offered are Dot net, Java, PHP, MCSE, Linux & CCNA PGC also has tied up with GTT for imparting training on Siemens PLM software (CAD/CAM) for Mech. Engg. Students by Siemenes trained professionals. Under this programme 160 hours of training is provided on Solid edge of Siemens on Campus itself. a) Industrial Training : Students are placed for practical training in the industry according to their area of specialization. Monitoring of training of students in different industries is conducted by faculty member of Training & Placement Cell. Analysis of industrial training is carried out on the basis of evaluation report received from the industries, matter content of the training submitted by the students and viva-voice conducted by the experts committee constituted as per norms of the institute. b) Personality Development Programs : Series of personality development programs comprising of aptitude tests, extempore speech, group discussions, quiz tests are organised for the students to develop communication skills, leadership qualities and positive attitude. C)Career talks: Expert lecturers are organized for the students for the upgradation and updating their knowledge, skills and attitude. Career talks include topics such as jobs opportunity in various discipline , scope of higher studies both within the country and aboard.
MEDICAL CENTRE Medical centre is being added to make the facility available to all the students to keep them healthy and strong to pursue their studies. The existing first Aid system is being upgraded to become a good medical centre to take care of the health of the students. The health of the students community is safe, steady and growing.
